"To restore and preserve Gunkle Spring Mill as a demonstration mill and museum to provide the community with educational and cultural programs designed to instill in its citizens the need for historic preservation and an awareness of local history" The mill is currently closed while we begin the process of restoring the mill wheel. This long anticipated project is a final step in restoring the mill to its appearance during the peak of its use. The staff of volunteers are using tools authentic to the time period to restore the wheel. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope to be reopening as soon as restorations are complete. |
